He added that they may create a common exchange in a second phase. Bolsa de Santiago is also in talks with BMV and BM&FBOVESPA to start their integration process. The integration of the Mexican market will be completed in short, while the connection to Brazil will take some time, according to Martínez .
SMX will start trading in August targeting 3-5% market share in Asian commodity derivatives. Gold futures, along with other five contracts will be launched initially. SMX will announce its initial members on June 3.

US Senate: Nebraska Treasurer Shane Osborn commented on the proposal to limit debit-card swipe fees that “a regulated debit interchange rate would decrease or eliminate the ability of financial institutions to offer [these] cost-effective programs to the public sector … Financial institutions issuing these cards may raise fees on cardholders or states to recoup lost revenue.”
