The Office of Coal, Nuclear, Electric and Alternate Fuel is seeking
a motivated and highly-qualified candidate for an exciting full-time
permanent position located in the Office of Coal, Nuclear, Electric
and Alternate Fuel, Division electric Power in Washington, D.C.  
The Division of Electric Power conducts development of new or novel
data analyses systems, operations and functions of major Department
of Energy, and national or international impact, for which
precedents are lacking and specific attributes must be developed and
tested.
The position provides an expert analyst and technical authority on
the electric power industry to lead the development, collection of
survey instruments, to originate and perform analyses projects
pertaining to the Energy sector or to a sub-sector.
The successful candidate for this position will possess the
following KSAs/competencies:
1. Ability to lead and manage work performed by others.
2. Skill in using advanced economic and other analytical techniques
to plan, organize, and conduct special projects, studies, and
evaluations pertaining to the electric power industry.
3.  Ability to articulate and negotiate technical issues with
officials of diverse perspectives and views, and of different levels.
4.  Experience in designing and conducting surveys to obtain
economic, engineering, geological, statistical or cost data from
different sources.
5.  Comprehensive knowledge of operations of the electric power
industry.
