Overview: Well established natural gas company is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to join the natural gas scheduling team. This role will focus primarily on nominating and scheduling activities for multiple transportation pipeline systems. Growing company with opportunity for advancement.

Role:

• Ensure that all scheduling functions related to the transportation of natural gas take place in an accurate and timely manner

• Schedule all nominations in the respective external pipeline scheduling systems and inputting this data into internal systems

• Communicate with 3rd party customers, traders, pipelines and/or appropriate others to insure proper and timely flow of gas

• Reconcile pipeline activity and pipeline statements to internal systems and/or any supporting spreadsheets

• Involvement in making economic decisions in routing gas and managing imbalances

• Develop and utilize appropriate forecasting models to project customer requirements under various weather conditions

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience

• Must be detail oriented, thorough and accurate

• Excellent communication and decision making skills are critical

• Bachelors’ degree, preferably in a quantitative or technical discipline

• Experience in the natural gas industry is a plus

• Must be able to effectively utilize Microsoft Excel, Word and Access

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet required deadlines
