The following is a report of Gold Option’s activity in the Over-The- Counter and Exchange traded venues. Information is compiled and summarized below.











Daily Recap:

The options market saw little activity today. Volatility traded slightly firmer with the market trading up 10-13 dollars. As the day moved forward, sellers of the August straddles materialized, pushing volatility under 19%. Moving further out the curve, there was little activity to speak of that gave volatility indications. Instead, we saw market makers interest in short dated small delta calls. Dealers took the other side of the trades in Aug-Dec in the form of risk reversals and bought the single call in 1*2 form. This was probably a relief to the locals who are short upside wings.
