The SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance created three specialized offices to focus on large financial institutions, asset-backed securities and other structured products, and securities offering trends.
The SEC appointed Paula Dubberly as Director of the Corporation Finance division. Ms. Dubberly previously served in many roles in the Division including Assistant Director for disclosure operations, Chief Counsel, and Associate Director.
CFTC may collect data on trading accounts, including account numbers details on the beneficial owner and controller of the account, an indication of whether the account is reportable under the Commission's large trader reporting system and whether it's an omnibus account, among other elements.

CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler mentioned at the SIFMA that the Commission is working on additional rules on large OTC derivatives dealers. CFTC will rework the rule on position limits it proposed in January.
