CBOE is looking for SEC approval to list daily options linked to 200 instruments and will “provide market participants with a tool to hedge overnight and weekend risk, as well as the risk of special events such as earnings announcements and economic reports, and pay a fraction of the premium of a standard or weekly option,” according to a filling.

ICE: some ECX EUA and ECX CER September 9 option settlements published were miscalculated because of a technical error. “The settlement prices published have been used for overnight margining and will therefore stand.”
HKEx will introduce automated stamp duty reporting and payment, starting September 20.

Goldman Sachs appointed Jim O’Neill as Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Mr. O’Neill was previously Head of Global Economics, Commodities and Strategy Research at Goldman Sachs.
CFTC announced that they will publish all meetings with outside organizations in relation to the Dodd-Frank Act. Chairman Gary Gensler said “The CFTC is committed to promoting both market and agency transparency.”
The CFTC will lead a public roundtable to discuss the proposed Ownership and Control Report (OCR) on September 16.
