Natural Gas Storage Report for Week Ending July 30, 2010

Summary
Working gas in storage was 2,948 Bcf as of Friday, July 30, 2010, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 29 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 132 Bcf less than last year at this time and 221 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,727 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 16 Bcf above the 5-year average following net injections of 34 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 116 Bcf above the 5-year average of 863 Bcf after a net withdrawal of 8 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 88 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 3 Bcf. At 2,948 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
